  • Being stranded in a small town has its benefits. For one, Mouro is visited by about 25 tourists per year. While this is not an official number but my own estimates. My friend and I spent two days, the amount of time it took to fix his car and ran into only three tourists from Spain. Enough about the town, which does have amazing olive oil BTW, let's talk about the food at Praca. The steak was amazing, and they threw in two free tiger prawns. I also had 6 beers for $7, one coke, and my steak. All of this came to a whopping $26! We wound up staying for more drinks as one group heard that two Americans were visiting and they welcomed us to join them at their table for more drinks and food.
